The First Responders

Detective Jin Ho-gae, who pursues his targets to the ends of the earth, encounters an unexpected kidnapping case on his first day of work and launches a joint operation with the fire department.

While waiting for a serious case, Ho-gae takes on a case where a victim died from drinking pesticide. After finding suspicious traces at the site, he establishes a new hypothesis.

After moving into a new house, Ho-gae discovers there has been a mysterious disappearance in the house after a fire and decides to investigate.

The police and firefighters assist Ye-seul, a victim of a car accident, and quickly prepare to transport her to the hospital. However, they go into crisis mode when they can't find Ye-seul's pulse.

When Ho-gae goes undercover in a gang, he learns that they aren't just a group of petty criminals. Ho-gae races to stop a crisis that could have mass casualties.

Do-jin struggles to extinguish growing flames. An investigation into a burnt corpse is carried out, and everyone is surprised by the identity of the unexpected suspect.
