Witchblade

After arriving in Tokyo, Masane becomes unhinged when the Child Welfare Ministry spirits away Rihoko; in the chaos, the Witchblade gets unleashed.

Masane, reborn a furious force of nature, gets conscripted into service by the Doji Group; while the reality of Masane's new life sets in, her daughter Rihoko wanders Tokyo alone.

Masane is sent to deal with the rogue X-Cons stalking the streets of Tokyo by the Doji Group; Takayama guarantees Masane a new life with her daughter in exchange for her service.

Masane's role as the Doji Group's weapon comes with a new home, but security and comfort fade when she learns another powerful entity, the NSWF, seeks possession of the Witchblade.

Masane is now able to provide for Rihoko after asking the Doji Group for a new salary; this brings Masane peace, but not for long as there is a reporter named Tozawa who is looking into the Witchblade.

The Doji Group rescues Masane from the ravaging hands of her clone contemporaries; as she gets whisked away, a savage assailant gives chase.
