Alex Fernie has been performing improv and sketch since moving to Los Angeles after graduating from Vassar College in 2004. He has a history degree and is happy to prove it. He can be seen performing weekly with Sentimental Lady and Convoy (which has been named "Best Improv Show" several times by LA Weekly) and co-hosts the monthly Required Viewing screening series. He has also performed in many other UCB shows including Smug Rock Nation, ASSSSCAT, Comedy Death-Ray, Crash Test, Quick & Dirty Musicals, Thirty:30 etc, etc, etc. He has worked as a writer and/or director on shows like Childrens Hospital, Bajillion Dollar Properties, NTSF:SD:SUV, Last Week Tonight & Hotwives of Orlando, and has created several television pilots for Comedy Central, Disney Amazon Studios and FX. In front of the camera, he's appeared on Terriers, Conan, Reno 911!, Key & Peele and a bunch of other stuff. No one believes that he grew up on a horse farm, but he did.
