Alex Morris

A veteran of stage and screen, Alex Morris has appeared in supporting roles on "Malcolm in the Middle" and a wide variety of film and TV projects during the 1990s and 2000s. Morris was bitten by the acting bug in Houston, Texas, in 1984. It was there that he began dating his future first wife Eileen, who was artistic director of the Ensemble Theatre, the oldest and largest African-American theatre company in the American Southwest. Morris worked steadily as a stage actor ever since. His on-camera credits include a recurring role as Trey, Hal's dentist, on the aforementioned "Malcolm"; Billy Stevenson on "City Guys" (a more urban project from the creators of "Saved By the Bell"); and a part on the children's series "Wishbone." Morris also appeared in numerous made-for-TV movies while contributing guest appearances to notable television series such as the do-gooder dramedy "My Name Is Earl," the quirky mystery series "Monk" and the sitcom "Happy Endings." Since 2008, Morris has appeared in two independent films by photographer-turned-filmmaker/provovateur Tim Alexander: "Diary of a Tired Black Man" and "Tim Alexander's A Mother's Love."
