Nick DiPaolo

Nick DiPaolo was an accomplished actor, noted for his comedic timing in his roles for television shows. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The 15th Annual Young Comedians Show -- Hosted by Dana Carvey" (1992-93), "Brett Butler: "Sold Out"" (Showtime, 1994-95) and "Comics Come Home" (Comedy Central, 1995-96). He also appeared in "Comics Come Home 2" (Comedy Central, 1996-97). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Grace Under Fire" (ABC, 1993-98) and "Lounge Lizards" (Comedy Central, 1995-96). In the nineties and the early 2000s, DiPaolo devoted his time to various credits, such as "Suddenly Susan" "Countdown to Comic Relief 8" (Comedy Central, 1997-98) and "Crank Yankers" (2001-07). He also worked on "Tough Crowd With Colin Quinn" (Comedy Central, 2002-04). DiPaolo was nominated for an Outstanding Writing For a Variety, Music or Comedy Program Primetime Emmy Award for "The Chris Rock Show" in 2000 as well as for an Outstanding Writing For a Variety, Music or Comedy Program Primetime Emmy Award for "The Chris Rock Show" in 2001. Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Tough Crowd Stands Up With Colin Quinn" (Comedy Central, 2003-04) and "Comedy Central Roast: Jeff Foxworthy" (Comedy Central, 2004-05). DiPaolo's distinctive voice can be heard on "Shorties Watchin' Shorties" (Comedy Central, 2003-05). Most recently, DiPaolo acted on "Inside Amy Schumer" (Comedy Central, 2012-).
