Sagar, editor-in-chief of the Samacharam newspaper, finds a crossword puzzle at a roadside restaurant. The puzzle predicts a terrible accident is about to happen.

Detective Kranthi Shenoy is assigned the suicide case of a popular journalist. During her investigation, she becomes convinced that something is not right. Ajay Ghosh interrogates Koti on Sagar's instructions, which leads to more trouble.

The suicide investigation leads Kranthi to an arms smuggling scheme that eventually results in Koti's disappearance. Koti's truck being involved in the accident puts Sagar and Ajay Ghosh at the centre of the investigation.

As Sagar and Ajay Ghosh discuss recent events, they find a clue in an old newspaper clipping that propels their investigation. Kranthi and Ranga discover a connection between the case and Sagar's farm. The tension mounts.

Kranthi and Ranga continue their investigation and unexpectedly stumble upon a dead body. Sagar follows Kiran Reddy, the investigator and presenter of the YouTube show Ghost Shadows, and finds out that Ravi is investigating journalists' suicides.

Kranthi's research closes the net around Sagar. Therefore, he decides to drop by Dhootha Publications in an attempt to unravel the mystery behind Sathyamurthy's book.
