Lucrecia is murdered in the ruins of the Four Roses nightclub in Madrid on November 13th, 1992. However, the Dominican community denounces it as as a predetermined death and refuse to investigate.
The bullet casings found at the crime scene prove to be the keys to identifying the perpetrators. Doubts arise about whether the murder was committed by radical far right youths or if it was another group choosing to settle a score.
The suspects testify in court as the country follows the case. Previously unseen archival material of the judicial interrogation where the four accused confess is revealed as they announce their influences and motivations that led to the murder.
Two years after the murder, the trial takes place amid enormous media attention. The pressures upon the four defendants in prison build up to the trial and carry a fundamental, unforeseen impact on the outcome.
