Rick desperately tries to escape the CRM, but his hope fades with every failed escape attempt. He is forced to find his way in this new world and risks losing himself in the process.

Michonne helps Aiden and Bailey reunite with their massive caravan. So Aiden, Bailey and their friend Nat outfit Michonne and agree to help in her search for Rick.

Rick and Michonne look for a means to live under the scrutiny of the Civic Republic Military while pretending to be strangers.

Michonne informs Rick about their son, hoping he might agree to go back home with her. However, Rick still refuses, as he wants to finish Okafor's mission to reform the CRM.

Rick and Michonne's journey is not as easy as they had hoped, but full of danger. There is also the suspicion that someone is hot on their heels who wants to destroy their future together. It will be a challenge to survive.

Beale tells Rick the truth about the collapse of Omaha and the Campus Colony and an upcoming attack on Portland. As the CRM plans to declare martial law and eliminate survivor communities worldwide, it's up to Rick and Michonne to stop them.
