See You in Another Life

In 2004, a man assaults Baby in the doorway of his house. He is the only minor arrested for his involvement in the 11-M attacks. Six months earlier, Baby, with no prospects in life, meets Emilio Trashorras, a famous drug dealer in the neighbourhood.

Emilio Trashorras has come up with the perfect business. He buys drugs from his suppliers and then reports them to the police to avoid paying for the goods. In Avilés, Emilio is known as the miner, since he worked in a mine.

Emilio accepts the deal offered by the jihadists, but first he has to send samples of dynamite to Madrid. To avoid getting involved in the operation, he uses two boys from the neighbourhood to transport the explosives by bus.

Baby is in charge of driving the group of jihadists from Narcea to Mina Conchita. They need to make several trips to get the whole load of explosives. Emilio meets his policeman friend to have an alibi.

Madrid, 2007. The macro-trial for the 11-M attacks in Madrid gets underway. In the trial, several survivors recount how they lived through it and the physical and psychological scars they still suffer.

After the attacks, Emilio tries to use his connections with the police to save himself, but he is eventually arrested along with all the suspects. Baby is the only one still at large.
