ラウラ・キアッティ

Beautiful and talented, actress Laura Chiatti has quickly made a name for herself in a variety of roles. But acting was not her first foray into entertainment. Chiatti started out as a pop singer and later modeled. Her good looks eventually got her to the Miss Teen Europe contest, which she won, and she continued modeling and making music for a while. After appearing in a few comedy movies, she landed a spot on the Italian soap opera "Un posto al sole," and she later appeared on other soaps including "Compagni di scuola," "Carabinieri," and "Incantesimo 7." In 2005, Chiatti starred in Giacomo Campiotti's ensemble drama "Never Again as Before," about a group of teenagers who go camping in the mountains after graduating from school, and are confronted with the transitory nature of life when an accident occurs. She has also charmed her way through Pupi Avati's nostalgic comedy/drama "The Friends at the Margherita Café"; starred as Desdemona in Wolfgang De Biasi's "Iago," a take on Shakespeare's play "Othello"; and starred alongside Giacomo Rizzo in Paolo Sorrentino's bizarre drama "The Family Friend." In 2010, Chiatti had a brief but memorable cameo in Sofia Coppola's minimalist character study "Somewhere." She has also done voice work, most notably for the Disney animated feature "Tangled," playing Rapunzel.
