Stephanie Garcia Colace made a name for herself with Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment, where she participated under the stage name Nikki Bella and was twice named a WWE Divas Champion. Born in San Diego, Calif., alongside her twin sister Brianna, Colace played soccer in elementary and high school. Following high school, she again played soccer for Grossmont College in San Diego for a year, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue an entertainment career. She and her sister were hired by Budweiser as the World Cup Twins, and in 2007, the duo signed on with World Wrestling Entertainment and were assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling in Tampa, where Colace began using the name Nikki Bella. From 2008 to 2011, the sisters appeared as the Bella Twins on WWE's "Smackdown." After being let go by WWE in 2012, the twins spent some time competing on the independent wrestling circuit before returning to WWE in 2013. They also appeared on the WWE reality show "Total Divas" and participated in many highly-charged storylines and feuds for WWE, and in 2015, Colace was named Diva of the Year by Rolling Stone magazine. Colace began performing on WWE's "SmackDown" in 2016, before announcing in April 2017 that she would be taking some time off from wrestling. Colace took on a new challenge later in 2017 when she joined the cast of "Dancing with the Stars" (ABC, 2005-) for the competitive reality show's 25th season. Colace's long-term relationship with fellow wrestler John Cena was a recurring part of the reality series "Total Divas" (E!, 2013-) and its spinoff "Total Bellas" (E!, 2016-), but the couple unexpectedly announced their split in April 2018, only weeks between they were due to be married.
