Eiji goes to Meredith's medical clinic; Griffin's sudden appearance causes Abraham to shoot him; Ibe tells Eiji to return to Japan.

Ash is released from prison at Jenkins' order; Eiji follows Ash to Golzine, believing that Ash carries responsibility for Griffin's death.

Ash's group heads to his hometown of Cape Cod looking for evidence Griffin may have left about Banana Fish and they receive an icy reception from Ash's father.
