Spy thriller about Michael Armstrong, a scientist who defects to East Germany to hand over the West's secrets. With him is his assistant and lover, Sarah Sherman, who doesn't suspect Armstrong is a double-agent sent to steal missile defence secrets. When his cover is blown, he and Sherman have to flee for their lives, hoping to make it back to the West before the Stasi and their spies capture them.
