Donald Dunn

Donald Dunn brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Dunn worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Blues Brothers 2000" (1998) starring Dan Aykroyd, "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" (1998) starring Johnny Depp and "The Best of the Blues Brothers" (Disney, 1993-94). He also contributed to "The Blues Brothers" (1980). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Dunn's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the Jackie Chan blockbuster action film "Rush Hour" (1998), the Johnny Depp crime drama "Blow" (2001) and the Jennifer Love Hewitt animated sequel "Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties" (2006). Dunn's music was also featured in the Don Cheadle biopic drama "Talk to Me" (2007), the comedy "Be Kind Rewind" (2008) with Jack Black and the dramatic adaptation "Footloose" (2011) with Kenny Wormald. Dunn's music was most recently featured in the Ben Affleck hit dramatic adaptation "Argo" (2012). Dunn passed away in May 2012 at the age of 71.
