Philip Pretten

Phillip Pretten was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also appeared in the TV movie "God Bless the Child" (ABC, 1987-88). He additionally was featured in the miniseries "Little Gloria... Happy at Last" (1982-83), "Spearfield's Daughter" (1985-86) and "Ford: The Man and the Machine" (1986-87). Pretten launched his entertainment career by acting in films like the Margot Kidder spy picture "Keeping Track" (1987). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Hiroshima" (1994-95). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Lifeforce Experiment" (Syfy, 1993-94). Following that project, he appeared in "The King Chronicle" (1988) and "The Kiss" (1988) with Joanna Pacula. In the nineties and the early 2000s, he then appeared in the Ben Affleck smash hit action flick "The Sum of All Fears" (2002) and the dramatic adaptation "The Human Stain" (2003) with Anthony Hopkins. He also was featured in the TV movies "Sublet" (Cinemax, 1999-2000) and "Portrait of Murder" (WB, 2001-02). Most recently, Pretten worked on the dramatic adaptation "The Greatest Game Ever Played" (2005) with Shia LaBeouf.
