Don't Look Back: The Legend of Orpheus

Hae Woo, daughter of the president of Gaya Hotel and a third-year prosecutor, is busy with her wedding preparations. In the meantime, Yoshimura Jun, president of Giant Hotel, arrives at Incheon Airport from Japan. Surrounded by congratulating friends, Hae Woo senses someone's intense gaze. She spots a man watching her. There’s something familiar about him. Who is he? Yi Soo is shaken when he sees Hae Woo. He didn’t lose his composure at the news of her marriage.

With a cold demeanor, Yoshimura Junichiro waits for Chairman Jo. He introduces himself to Jo Sang Kook as the son of Jo’s long-forgotten best friend. Eui Seon slaps Yi Soo when Yi Soo and Hae Woo return from the vacation home. Yoshimura takes a keen interest in Yi Soo on seeing him go up against Eui Seon. Jo Sang Kook receives another visitor, Kang Hee Soo, who asks whether he knows a man named Cheon Young Bo. Sang Kook merely says the significance of time is that it moves forward.

Bang Jin approaches Yi Soo who’s in a holding cell for assaulting a police officer. Bang Jin senses Yi Soo has a likely suspect in mind, but Yi Soo no longer trusts the police. Yi Soo has mixed feelings seeing Hae Woo on his release. Not knowing what is going on, Hae Woo is upset at how Yi Soo seems to have grown distant. Yi Soo tracks the key found in Yi Hyun’s music box to a massage parlor. Jo Eui Seon has one of his men tail Yi Soo.

Early in the morning after her wedding, Hae Woo gets an alarming call. Hae Woo and Joon Young find a dead man in a storage facility. Bang Jin is dispatched to the murder scene. Seeing how meticulous the culprit is, he asks Hae Woo to stay off the case. Hae Woo, however, insists on taking the case, as it is her chance to find out what really happened to Yi Soo. In the meantime, Yi Soo runs into an old acquaintance at the river where his father’s ashes were scattered.

Hae Woo runs into Yi Soo at the lake by the family vacation home. It turns out Yi Soo was Jo Sang Kook’s guest. Hae Woo and Yi Soo walk through the woods, each reeling from the past. During lunch, a small box is delivered to Hae Woo. Inside it is an initialized watch. Hae Woo suspects her father may have been responsible for the hit and run 12 years ago and confronts him. Hae Woo and Bang Jin set out to find Hope Corner Store, a photo of which they received from an anonymous sender.

Yi Soo kisses Hae Woo, and Hae Woo walks away flustered and angry. Joon Young, who comes to pick up Hae Woo, senses tension between Hae Woo and Yi Soo. On his way back to his apartment, Yi Soo notices someone tailing him. The man he pins down warns him, “Be careful of that woman.”
