Elisabeth Harnois

Elisabeth Harnois began her Hollywood career as a child actor, appearing in bit TV roles and commercials starting at age three. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Harnois moved with her family to Los Angeles in order to audition for film roles. At age five, she made her screen debut in the 1985 Disney holiday feature "One Magic Christmas." Despite the auspicious start to her movie career, she appeared primarily on TV for the next decade and a half, most notably as the title character Alice on the Disney TV series "Adventures in Wonderland," a role for which she won a Young Artist Award in 1993. By the early 2000s, Harnois began broadening her horizons as a young adult actor and was cast in challenging roles for such films as the 2002 coming-of-age drama "Swimming Upstream," the 2005 TV comedy prequel "Strangers with Candy," and the satirical black comedy "Pretty Persuasion" (2005). Harnois returned to network TV by late-decade, starring in the quickly cancelled crime series "Point Pleasant" and landing a recurring role in the hit teen drama "One Tree Hill."
