A feature-length spin-off from the TV series, the Thornberry family - led by natural history film-maker Colonel Radcliff Thornberry - head to deepest Africa. Once there, daughter Eliza - after meeting a shaman - can talk to the animals, a skill that stands her in good stead to foil a dastardly plot by poachers to kill a herd of elephants for their ivory.
