Adrian Schiller

Born in London, actor Adrian Schiller appeared in performances on stage, and on both the big and small screens. Schiller's first professional onscreen appearance came in 1992, when he played a small role in the English Crime Drama "Prime Suspect 2", starring Helen Mirren. He followed this effort up with appearances in other UK television series, including "Ghosts" (1995), "Bugs" (1996), "My Family" (BBC 2000-2011), and "Judge John Deed" (2001-). At the turn of the millennium, Schiller continued to appear in television programs, which made up the bulk of his work as an onscreen actor. He appeared in several mini-series, including "The Devil's Whore" (2008), "The Ten Commandments" (2006), and "Going Postal" (2010). Schiller also appeared in a number of TV movies such as "George Eliot: A Scandalous Life"(2010), "Fields of Gold" (2002), and "Surrealismo: The Scandalous Success of Salvador Dali"(2002). Though he made the rounds on television quite regularly, Schiller did also appear in some big screen movies in the 2000s, including "Good" in 2008 in which he played the Third Reich propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels. And "Wild Target" (2010). In 2015 Schiller appeared in the critically acclaimed film "The Danish Girl". The same year he appeared in the UK short film "Significance". In 2017 Schiller appeared in the live-action Hollywood movie "Beauty and the Beast" (2017). Adrian Schiller died on April 3, 2024 at the age of 60.
