Betty A. Bridges

Betty A. Bridges was an actress who worked in television most of her Hollywood career. She also was featured in the miniseries "Backstairs at the White House" (1978-79). Bridges started in the industry by acting in films like the drama "The Concrete Jungle" (1982) with Jill St John. She also starred in the TV movies "Condominium" (1980-81), "Rooster" (ABC, 1981-82) and "Police Story: The Freeway Killings" (NBC, 1986-87). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties, appearing on "Out All Night" (1992-93), "Sister, Sister" (WB, 1993-99) and "Ally McBeal" (Fox, 1997-2002). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Colony" (USA, 1995-96). In her more recent career, she tackled roles on "Nothing Sacred" (1997-98), "Payne" (CBS, 1998-99) and "Snoops" (ABC, 1999-2000). She also appeared in "Jack & Jill" (WB, 1999-2001). Bridges most recently acted on "2 Broke Girls" (CBS, 2011-).
