Ghazwan returns home from battle loaded with war loot. His twin brother Marar is upset that Ghazwan brought along a prisoner and demands for his instant release. Ghazwan orders his men to kill the prisoner.

Ghazawan's wife Qadwa is upset with her sister's jealousy towards her. Marar knows his brother Ghazwan has killed the prisoner and rebukes the man who carried out the act before confronting his brother. Gannas meets his fiancee Shiha, who wants him to write her a poem.

Shiha challenges her fiance Gannas to a horse-racing and rifle-shooting match. Harb tries to solve a dispute between Marar and Zuweid, who Marar rebuked for killing the prisoner. A stranger confronts two bandits trying to plunder Musallam's sheep.

Ghazwan is determined to invade Musallam's tribe even as Marar tries to convince him otherwise. Ghazwan sends Deeb as a spy to collect information.

Shiha refuses to marry Gannas while Hana tries to convince her that the wedding is in the best interest of their tribe. Marar is furious at Ghazwan's behaviour while his fiancee Nouf wants him to prepare for their marriage as Ghazwan prepared for his.

Gannas memorizes a poem and tries to pass it off as his own to impress his fiancee Shiha. Deeb arrives at Musallam's tribe and is surprised to see that there are no knights to protect it. Marar seeks his Uncle Harb's advice on how to stop Ghazwan's invasion plans.
