Shadow Detective

Detective Taekrok, due to retire soon, receives a prank call. Taekrok disregards the call at first, but the caller keeps on menacing Taekrok. Taekrok has no choice but to follow the unknown caller's instructions.

Jinhan is appointed as the new chief inspector, making Taekrok colleagues begin to doubt him. Fortunately, Taekrok gets a chance to exonerate himself, but the blackmailer forces him to scrutinise cases from his past.

Taekrok is appalled by a mistake he made in the past and becomes suspicious of everyone around him.

Taekrok tells Jinhan about the blackmailer; he learns the blackmailer's identity, but danger awaits.

Seonga and Gyeongchan decide to help Taekrok, who realises the blackmailer's target is not him.

Taekrok figures out the blackmailer must be the boss of a shady gang that recently went into hiding. If Taekrok arrests the boss, he can reveal the truth and he will be cleared from the accusations against him.
