Lincoln Younes

The talented performer Lincoln Younes is a young Australian actor who began appearing prominently on television while still in high school. Younes turned from soccer, a long-time childhood passion, to acting in 2006, after performing in a theater production of "Peter Pan." His change of direction paid off quickly: while participating in the National Institute of Dramatic Arts' "A Young Actor's Studio Program" in 2008, Younes successfully auditioned for the lead role of Romeo Kovac, a teenage rebel and romantic player, for the Melbourne-based drama series "Tangle." In 2009, he had a guest part on the crime drama "City Homicide," and in 2010 Younes made his feature-film debut in the comedy "The Wedding Party," which screened at the Melbourne International Film Festival that summer. After completing high school, Younes began studies at Melbourne University--until six months in he auditioned for the role of Casey Braxton on the long-running Aussie soap "Home and Away," landing the part and at least temporarily sidelining college. As Casey Braxton, Younes played the youngest of three angry, troubled brothers, and though troubled himself, he sought to avoid following in their footsteps. Younes played Braxton throughout 2011, before returning to "Tangle" to play Romeo in 2012.
