Desperate Manny

In the middle of the night, Manny wrestles with his demons, trying to find the answers that will save his young son and himself. Having drawn two others into his plight, an old friend and a stranger, he's not sure whom he can trust. The movie opens with Manny holding a gun and a bottle of whiskey. He's staring across the room at his son, asleep in the bed. His old friend and confidant, Neil, is on the phone trying to talk sense into him, and to make him realize that kidnapping his son won't solve his problems. Soon we learn Manny has another hostage - a female police officer who pulled him over as he was speeding away with his son. Now Manny and Officer Reyes must each figure out how to save the boy and survive the night. It's a story about love, addiction and courage - and unintended consequences.
