The Festival
Nick (Joe Thomas) is about to leave university and is already planning his future with girlfriend Caitlin (Hannah Tointon). But Nick is a bit nerdy, self-involved and, to be frank, Caitlin is just not that into him. She dumps him moments before graduation, prompting a colossal meltdown in front of his fellow students. He's convinced his life is over, retires to his bedroom and refuses to budge. Fast food wrappers and bottles of suspicious-looking liquid soon abound. However, Nick’s best mate, Shane (Hammed Animashaun), will not give up on him. A positive people-person and an aspiring house musician with a penchant for a party, he has the perfect solution: three days at an epic music festival! That is sure to drag Nick out of the doldrums and get his life back on track. The fact that Nick now finds the thought appalling is beside the point. Shane knows they will have fun. On the way they meet "festival aficionado" and certified oddball Amy (Claudia O’Doherty), who can’t wait to introduce Shane and Nick to the music, the mayhem and the mud.
