A selfless spinster, stricken with leukaemia, is forced to call upon her estranged sister for help. Having spent 20 years caring for her ailing father and aunt, the tables are turned when she is told she needs a bone marrow donor to fight her illness. Her only hope seems to be her sister and the two nephews she has never met. Scott McPherson adapted the screenplay from his own off-Broadway play.
