Red Desert

Set in the factory-polluted valley of Ravenna, Giuliana is a young mother fighting a suicidal depression, not helped by the grimness of her surroundings and the fact that her engineer husband, Ugo is out of work while there's a strike at his factory. When Corrado Zeller, one of Ugo's friends, arrives in town, Giuliana is dangerously drawn to him.
