María Marta returns home from a family gathering and prepares to take a bath; almost ten years later, bloggers Belu and Juana find intriguing irregularities in the old case and join forces to begin an independent investigation.

After María Marta's death makes headlines, the prosecutor is pressured to investigate further; the interrogations reveal an altercation with neighbour Matías Centeno a few months earlier.

Carlos Carrascosa and María Marta's father confront each other; Carlos is placed in detention.

Carrascoso and several other members of María Marta's family are convicted; María Marta's stepsister, Irene Hurting, faces the scrutiny of the press; Belu and Juana continue investigating Centeno.

In 2013, Belu and Juana follow the trail against Centeno. Carrascosa has to be hospitalised.
