Tudor Owen

Tudor Owen was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Owen's career in acting began with his roles in various films like the western "Montana" (1950) with Errol Flynn, "The Black Castle" (1952) and the Van Johnson comedy "When in Rome" (1952). He also appeared in "How to Marry a Millionaire" (1953), the mystery adaptation "My Cousin Rachel" (1953) with Olivia de Havilland and "Perils of the Jungle" (1953). His film career continued throughout the fifties in productions like "Treasure of the Golden Condor" (1953) with Cornel Wilde, "Yankee Pasha" (1954) and the adaptation "Arrow in the Dust" (1954) with Sterling Hayden. Nearing the end of his career, he tackled roles in the Richard Denning drama "The Oklahoma Woman" (1956), the comedy adventure "The Court Jester" (1956) with Danny Kaye and the western "The Lonely Man" (1957) with Jack Palance. He also appeared in the Ronald Colman dramedy "The Story of Mankind" (1957) and "North to Alaska" (1960) with John Wayne. Owen last acted in "Jack the Giant Killer" (1962). Owen passed away in March 1979 at the age of 81.
