On a boat in the port of Marseille, Jews, survivors of the Shoah, embark to emigrate illegally to Israel, then under British mandate. While one of the lieutenants installs the arrivals at the bottom of the ship, he discovers 2 stowaways that the captain is going to deliver to the police.
