In 1991, Busan, BAE Jung-gil, who had been working as a housekeeper for MOON, the owner of a leading travel agency, suddenly disappears soon after KIM Hak-soon’s confession of her experiences as a comfort woman was revealed to the world. After following rumors here and there, MOON finally finds BAE hiding in the house of her son and discovers that she was once a comfort woman. MOON sets her business aside and strives to help the victims by running a report center. After realizing that the fundamental cure for these women are the Japanese government’s official statement of apology and compensation, MOON prepares for trial on her own expense. Finally, in 1998, after 6 long years, they face the verdict of the Shimonoseki trial.
