Carlos Romero

Carlos Romero was an actor who graced the silver screen many times throughout his Hollywood career. Romero began his acting career with roles in such films as the Edmond O'Brien drama "The World Was His Jury" (1958), the adventure "The Gun Runners" (1958) with Audie Murphy and the Patrick Wayne western "The Young Land" (1959). He also appeared in "They Came to Cordura" (1959), "Deadly Duo" (1962) and "Island of the Blue Dolphins" (1964) with Celia Kaye. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The D.A.: Murder One" (NBC, 1969-1970). Romero focused on television in more recent years, appearing on "Adam-12" (NBC, 1968-1975) and "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" (ABC, 1974-75). Romero continued to exercise his talent in the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "The Last of His Tribe" (HBO, 1991-92), "Of Love and Shadows" (1996) starring Antonio Banderas and "Set It Off" (1996) starring Jada Pinkett Smith. His credits also expanded to "Solo" (1996) and "Steel" with Shaquille O'Neal (1997). Most recently, Romero worked on "And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself" (HBO, 2003-04).
