Mickey Hardt

Swiss-born Mickey Hardt began studying martial arts at the age of 8. But it wasn't until his college years that he discovered a love for acting and modeling. Hardt attended drama school in Paris and Berlin, during which time he got his big break. Thanks in part to his martial arts training, he was chosen to star as the leading man in "Der Puma--Kämpfer mit Herz," German television's first martial-arts series. After that show wrapped in 2000, Hardt went on to land recurring roles in several additional television series. From 2004 to 2005 he played the character Tim Boeve in the comedy "Sabine! !," and in 2010 he starred as Stefan Faber in the German soap opera "Alisa--Folge Deinem Herzen," for which he won the Sexiest Man award at the 2011 German Soap Awards. In 2004, Hardt made a splash as title character Max Havoc, a former kickboxing champion, in the action flick "Max Havoc: Curse of the Dragon." Released internationally, the film was so successful that a sequel was made. In 2006, Hardt returned to his martial-arts roots to play his most famous character in "Max Havoc: Ring of Fire," which co-starred Dean Cain.
