Nell Campbell

Nell Campbell rose to fame as an actress, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of her Hollywood career. Campbell kickstarted her acting career in various films such as "Lisztomania" (1976) with Roger Daltrey, "Summer of Secrets" (1976) with Arthur Dignam and the adventure "Journey Among Women" (1977) with Lillian Crombie. She also appeared in the Cliff De Young horror movie "Shock Treatment" (1981). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing in the musical "Pink Floyd The Wall" (1982) with Bob Geldof, "Stanley" (1983) and the Sam Waterston dramatic adaptation "The Killing Fields" (1984). She also appeared in the TV special "Tracey Ullman Takes on New York" (HBO, 1993-94). Campbell had a number of different projects under her belt in the nineties and the early 2000s, including "Princess Caraboo" (1994) starring Jim Broadbent, "Great Expectations" with Ethan Hawke (1998) and "Intern" (2000). Campbell most recently worked on the dramatic adaptation "Joe Gould's Secret" (2000) with Ian Holm.
