Vera Day is an an actress who started her entertainment career at the age of 17. Vera Day's career beginnings included film roles in the dramatic adaptation "A Kid For Two Farthings" (1956) with Celia Johnson, the adaptation "Enemy From Space" (1957) with Brian Donlevy and the comedy adaptation "The Prince and the Showgirl" (1957) with Marilyn Monroe. Vera Day began to focus on film after appearing in the Stanley Baker crime picture "Hell Drivers" (1958), "Hell, Heaven or Hoboken" (1958) and "The Haunted Strangler" (1958). She also appeared in the comedy "Up the Creek!" (1958) with David Tomlinson, "The Woman Eater" (1959) and "Too Many Crooks" (1959) with Terry-Thomas. More recently, Vera Day acted in the action film "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" (1999) with Jason Flemyng.
