B-Daman Crossfire

Riki Ryugasaki, a schoolboy who lives in the town of East City in the year 20XX, can be a bit of an airhead at times, has a lively personality and dreams of being an adventurer when he grows up. When a friend and classmate named Sumi Inaba takes him to a B-Daman event, Riki's interest is sparked. His curiosity deepens when he hears an urban legend about a secret B-Daman tournament that is open only to a select group of players. While Riki remains a bit skeptical, he cannot resist the urge to investigate the mystery behind B-Daman.
