Stanley Mann

Stanley Mann wrote a variety of screenplays throughout the duration of his Hollywood career. Mann earned a film writing career following such successful contributions to titles such as the adaptation "Another Time, Another Place" (1958) with Lana Turner, "The Mouse That Roared" (1959) featuring Peter Sellers and the crime picture "The Mark" (1961) with Maria Schell. He also appeared in the drama "Woman of Straw" (1964) with Gina Lollobrigida and the Anthony Quinn dramatic adaptation "A High Wind in Jamaica" (1965). In addition to his writing, Mann acted in the romance "Anna and the King of Siam" (1946) with Irene Dunne. Toward the end of his career, Mann wrote "The Silent Flute" (1979) featuring David Carradine, "Meteor" (1979) and "Eye of the Needle" (1981) with Donald Sutherland. In addition to his writing, Mann also appeared in the David Keith dramatic adaptation "Firestarter" (1984). Mann more recently wrote "Hanna's War" (1988).
