Rockabilly is a music genre that was founded by artists Bill Haley and his Comets, Elvis Presley, Gene Vincent, Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins, Charlie Feathers and Mac Curtis, among many others. Taking hold around 1954. the music style is a mixture of gospel, blues, rhythm and blues, country, hillbilly and boogie woogie. The music was born swinging its way through the cotton fields.
