One of the highest-paid television actresses in India, Khan is widely recognised for portraying Akshara Maheshwari Singhania in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She is a recipient of several accolades including three ITA Awards, three Indian Telly Awards and seven Gold Awards.
