Robert Adler

Robert Adler was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Adler's career in acting began with his roles in various films like "Green Grass of Wyoming" (1948), the western "Fury at Furnace Creek" (1948) with Victor Mature and "Cry of the City" (1948) with Victor Mature. He also appeared in the western "Yellow Sky" (1948) with Gregory Peck, the James Stewart western "Broken Arrow" (1950) and "A Ticket to Tomahawk" (1950). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Inferno" (1953) with Robert Ryan, the western "The Silver Whip" (1953) with Dale Robertson and the Richard Widmark action movie "Hell and High Water" (1954). He also appeared in the adaptation "Prince Valiant" (1954) with James Mason. Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in the drama "Valerie" (1957) with Sterling Hayden, "The Bravados" (1958) and the Richard Widmark adaptation "Warlock" (1959). He also appeared in "These Thousand Hills" (1959) with Don Murray and the adaptation "Journey to the Center of the Earth" (1959) with Pat Boone. Adler was most recently credited in "You Live In What?" (HGTV, 2011-13). Adler passed away in December 1987 at the age of 81.
