Giving up their search for perfect parents, Hansel and Gretel make a new home in the woods, where Hansel develops a beastly appetite.

Gretel finds herself sad and alone until a friendly fishmonger comes to her rescue; a rejuvenated Hansel makes a fresh start as a lord.
