The Miniaturist on Masterpiece

Nella travels to Amsterdam to permanently relocate after her marriage to a wealthy merchant; Nella receives an elaborate dollhouse for her wedding, as she attempts to fit into her new family.

Nella decides that she wants to leave Amsterdam and her husband, but the servants beg her to stay; Nella tries to discover more about the miniaturist as doll houses are banned and burned.

Nella decides to sell the sugar on her own in order to try and save Johannes; Nella finds a secret door hidden inside her doll's house that resembles one in the Miniaturist's workshop.
