Estranged siblings Moira and Morissette reunite following the tragic accident of their parents who own Tamol Mall, an old-fashioned, beat-up, yet popular shopping center. Fighting over who should inherit the property, the sisters engage in a competition to determine its rightful owner. Meanwhile, a vengeful relative of the two goes on an exhaustive search for a book of spells to claim power over the mall and the whole world. As Moira chances upon the book, she unwittingly creates discord when non-living mall inhabitants suddenly come to life. Despite their unsettled differences, Moira and Morissette join forces in trying to stop the inanimate objects from wreaking further havoc.
