The kids challenge Cricket to jump off the high dive at a pool; Tilly is convinced that the family goat has the spirit of a dog.

Bill takes Gramma to a doctor's appointment, leaving Tilly in charge of Cricket; Cricket discovers that Bill never accomplished his dream of becoming a gymnast.

After crashing her car into a parked police car, Gramma loses her driver's licence; Cricket Green dislikes bears so much that he helps Officer Keys catch one.

Bill takes the family on a road trip to the country, only to wind up trapped in a traffic jam; when Tilly finds a bird's nest, she cares for the eggs hoping the chicks will think she's their mother, but the birds imprint on Cricket instead.
