Billy's science project takes a terrible turn, and he and his two friends are stuck in a strange land. Billy, Zeke and Marsha must navigate their way back to the Cheeserator.
Zeke, the King of Calzones is forced to defend his title when a rival chef appears on the scene. Billy creates a grafting machine and uses it to add different creature parts to his body.
Marsha misses her date with Greg Hastings, her crush from summer camp. A tribe called the Troggies leave Zeke intimdated with their ability to do everything better than him.
Billy wants to find out if Marsha has written about him in her newsletter. Billy makes a new friend who is obsessed with sludge, but Count Wretcher wants the Cheeserator for his own benefit.
While Billy is nursing a crush, a grass nymph named Judy develops a crush of her own, on him. Subterranea-Tania's resident sorceress, Hag Witch, takes Billy on as her new apprentice.
Billy analyses a rock taken from a sacred patch, leading Marsha to believe he has been cursed. Zartran the barbarian moves in with Billy and his friends, and shares stories of epic battles.
