DEADLOCH

Local football coach Trent Latham is found dead on a beach on the eve of the much awaited winter festival in Deadloch. Sergeant Collins initiates the investigation, but Detective Eddie comes from Darwin and takes over the case, causing strife.

Dulcie makes the community angry as she exhumes the former mayor's body; Sam O'Dwyer's boat is set on fire during a special Deadloch Winter Feastival; Eddie chases a hooded figure through the bush.

Another suspect's body is found by the lake and though the victim has been dead for the last five years, Dulcie is quite sure that there is some link between this and the other two murders.

When Dulcie and Cath's relationship starts facing difficulties, the names of a few new suspects pop up. However, it is Eddie's mistake at the press conference that leaves an impact.

The town is gripped by terror after the latest discovery, as the investigation causes friction. Eddie recovers from a media stumble as Dulcie tries to resolve the conflicts raging across Deadloch, while suspicions multiply in a variety of directions.

When the most compelling suspect ends up being a close friend of Dulcie, it creates conflict in multiple relationships. The evidence is piling up and more bodies are emerging.
