After Soho hands over the national policy, the king is angry and sends a large army to bring back Soho's daughter. Madame So notices a relationship with Dal-gi, and sends her away.

When the crown prince's army attack Su Hu's home, Dal Ji decides to enter the palace in order to protect her family and the civilians. However, contrary to the promise made, the troops still invade Jizhou.

A mysterious man asks Dal Ji to devote her soul to him in exchange for getting away from the palace. However, Dal Ji refuses to surrender to him and threatens to kill herself.

The Gumiho who comes to rescue Dal Ji tries to provoke her with sweet words, offering to exact revenge on her behalf. Later, when she sees her father's severed head, she uses the jade ring he gave her to avoid becoming a sacrificial offering.
