High school girl Ogura Sio is on a trip to Taiwan with her class when mysterious creatures attack humankind. To save her only friend, she'll need a weapon; the kind of weapon only one of the great souls of old can give her.

Sio's sent into battle in a Category 4 hurricane before she's finished her training. Will some dancing lessons from an ancient warlord make up the difference? Will she be able to hit a moving target this time?

Sio is assigned to the 2nd platoon. When she joins up with them on their airship, she learns that e-gene holders just keep getting weirder. Meanwhile, DOGOO learns something new about the Evolutionary Invaders - and it's not good news.
