As Shi-won gets ready for her high school reunion, she can hardly believe it as been fifteen years. Upon seeing her friends, she thinks back to the 1990's, where her life was all about H.O.T, a popular boyband.

In a flashback Shi-won disappoints her father with a terrible report card. Her father tears H.O.T. posters from her wall and threatens to adopt her friend, Yoon-jae. Shi-won and Yoon-jae have a special friendship.

Everyone has gathered in front of the television for the Korea-Japan World Cup qualifying game. Unfortunately, Shi -won has forgotten to order the fried chicken.

When Shi-won and her parents have a fender-bender, Shi-won's parents fake injuries and are sent to the hospital were Shi-won's father receives a startling diagnosis.

After surgery, Shi-won's father complains about his ajumma-packed hospital room and waits anxiously for the results. Shi-won gets into a fan-girl fight over the use of a classroom VCR.

Shi-won's grades may keep her out of college. To deals with this, she creates fanfic and has several avid online followers. When the teacher embarrasses her by reading one of her stories in class, she gets an invitation to enter a writing contest.
