The Tasmanian Devil is one of the most unique species to be found in Australia. Its name was given to it by the first settlers, terrified by their shrieks and violent fights. It is a marsupial that never stops looking for food.

March is the breeding month of the Devils, and the pregnancy lasts about eighteen days. The litter is usually about twenty but there are only four nipples, to which the first pups will arrive, and the rest will die.
